Deli Fuad Pasha bought this waterfront residence in 1908. He was known as “Crazy Fuad Pasha” because of his fearlessly proceed in front of soldiers during the war. He was sentenced to death during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid 2 because of his activities against sultan and later his the death punishment was pardoned by sultan and was exiled.
Crazy Fuad Pasha came to Istanbul again when Sultan Abdulhamid 2 was dethroned and entered parliament, became leader of the Hurrıyet and Entente Party.
He lived here until died in 1931.
It is using as Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization now.
